Miss Technicality, a juvenile daughter of Gio Ponti followed up a maiden score at Belmont last July with an easy win in the $400,000 Exacta Systems Juvenile Fillies Stakes over 8-furlongs at Kentucky Downs on Saturday. Ridden with supreme confidence by Julien Leparoux, she rewarded favorite backers here as she bided her time early and swung out wide in the straight to score by an easy six at the wire. Bred by John McCormack and running for the breeder and Namcook Stables, she has laid down an early marker in the juvenile filly turf division for 2018. Post-race John McCormack noted  from an earlier discussion with trainer Christophe Clement that "he likes this filly, she's been training well and she's improved in her training from her maiden win at Belmont. And we were confident in the way that she's bred that she get's further. She's a relaxed filly by nature and a kind filly to be around"
