At last night's boutique Fasig Tipton November Sale, a colt by Gio Ponti and a mare pregnant to the Champion sold well in a catalog that contained some of the best and most current pedigrees of 2014. Early in the evening a weanling out of Revealed brought $175,000 to the bid of Springdell Farm, LLC. This colt is a three parts brother to dual G1 winner Belle Galantey, victorious in the Delaware Handicap and Beldame Stakes this year. Later in the sale Soaring Emotions, a daughter of Kingmambo was sold in foal to Gio Ponti for $300,000, purchased by Bloodstock Investment 11. New connections will be eagerly watching the Derby trials for 2015 as this mare is already the dam of Souper Colossal, that won two stakes at Monmouth over the summer and ran well in last weekend's Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita.
