Gio Ponti's OLYMPIC RUNNER reigned supreme in the G2 King Edward Stakes at Woodbine last weekend while setting a new track record for one mile on the turf in 1:31.73. The 5yo son of triple Eclipse Award winner Gio Ponti saved ground early then swept to the lead to win impressively raising his record to 23-5-7-2, $419,450.
