FORT DRUM Wins $100,000 Stakes at Aqueduct
Fort Drum (c. 3, Wiseman’s Ferry- Elmira Gulch, by Gulch)
won the $100,000 New York Stallion Times Square Stakes today at Aqueduct. This is the colt's first stakes win who will go down in the books as the first stakes winner for sire WISEMAN'S FERRY. The colt won by a driving 1 1/2 lengths for trainer Gary Contessa. The colt was recently purchased at the Keeneland January Sale as a racing prospect for new owners Winnning Move Stable, Sanford Robbins, LLC, Lerner Harold, Seidman Stables, LLC and was bred by Denlea Park Ltd & South Gate.
