First Crop 2 Year Old Brings Big Figure at Barretts
Hip #191, a Toccet colt out of Full Figure (Crafty Prospector) may have been the last to go through the ring yesterday at Barretts, but there certainly wasn't a lack of interest considering his late placement. The big, athletic 2 year old posted an impressive workout of 10.1 during the first breeze session and continued to show himself well throughout inspections. Bob Baffert signed the $410,000 ticket for Hoods Up Stable. Purchased in July at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky sale for $147,000, the colt was consigned by Wavertree Stables (Ciaran Dunne), Agent and bred in Kentucky by Joe Mulholland Sr, Joe Mulholland Jr, John Muholland & Karen Mulholland.
