ANOTHER STAKES WIN FOR AWESOME RHYTHM

Son of TOCCET Wins his 2nd Stakes Race in 21 Days!

AWESOME RHYTHM (c. 3, Toccet - Galoshes by Storm Boot) won the $150,000 Marine Stakes yesterday at Woodbine going 1 1/16 miles. Ridden by Jim McAleney, AWESOME RHYTHM stalked the leaders until heading into the final turn where he began his final charge, making his move going 5-wide before gaining the lead in mid-stretch. The dark bay drew off to win by 2 1/4 lengths for trainer John Ross.

This victory comes only 21 days after winning his first black type affair in the Wando Stakes on April 25th at Woodbine. "He's come to the forefront," states Ross. "Today was the proof he might be for real. Hopefully, I can keep him in great order and we can continue a bit of this."

AWESOME RHYTHM was bred in Kentucky by Stillmeadow Farm, and is owned by Domenic Triumbari. Congratulations to all of his connections!
