LOYAL MASTER EASILY WINS MAIDEN AT BEVERLEY
LOYAL MASTER (g 2, Modigliani - Santa Gertrudis by Machiavellian) won a 7 1/2 furlong maiden by 5 lengths at Beverley yesterday. Making only his second race track appearance for trainer George Foster, the gelding was well placed throughout and swept to the lead one furlong out, and despite running green, easily gained the win. Loyal Master was sold by his breeder's Castleton Lyons and Kilboy Estate as a foal in Goffs. The mare is a resident at Castleton Lyons along with a yearling full sister to Loyal Master and a Bernstein filly foal on the ground. Santa Gertrudis is in foal to Bernstein and is due March 2012.
