Kilboy owned filly beaten a neck in Curragh debut
DANZIGER (f. 2, Modigliani - Star on a Hill by City on a Hill) ran an excellent second in her debut today in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden for 2-year-olds over 5 furlongs at the Curragh. The filly carrying the Kilboy Estate colors was beaten a neck on the line by Gold Lace who had the benefit of previous race track experience. Trainer Dermot Weld and Jockey Pat Smullen were delighted with Danziger's race and she will aim for a similar event in the next few weeks. Danziger is the first Modigliani runner for Castleton Lyons and Kilboy Estate since they assumed this stallion's management.
