Eclipse Champion 2 Year Old Will Return to Castleton Lyons for the 2010 Breeding Season

We are pleased to announce the re-location with immediate effect of ACTION THIS DAY from Spendthrift Farm to Castleton Lyons where he started his stud career in 2005.

Mr. Shane Ryan, President of Castleton Lyons said “the opportunity arose for Castleton Lyons to assume full ownership in Action this Day and we were delighted to be able to complete this and look forward to him joining our roster for the 2010 season. He was an outstanding racehorse earning an Eclipse Award as the leading two year old colt after winning the 2003 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. Action this Day is a very attractive young son of Kris S. whose progeny should improve even more with only two crops on the track and many more horses to run for him in future years. A 2010 stud fee for Action this Day will be announced at a later date”
