The lightly raced but classy, Justaholic turned in a good performance in yesterday's $75,000 Wolf Hill Stakes at a baking Monmouth. The Justin Phillip four-year-old showed good early speed in this 5 1/2 panel turf test occupying a wide third before gaining ground into second at about half way behind Fig Jelly. Jockey Jose Ferrer took the lead towards the end of the sprint and was good value for a one length margin. Justaholic was stakes placed last year at Monmouth and Presque Isle before going to the shelf for a year with a foot issue. He returned to win a grassy allowance on the Jersey shore last month before yesterday's success for trainer Tom Clark. Owned by Lucky Man Racing, and bred by Gabriel Duignan, Ben McElroy, Pat Costello and John Wade, the colt has now won four races from eight lifetime starts.
