Smooth victory for Castleton Lyons homebred filly
Green Lyons (IRE) (f, 4, Green Desert/Spinnette) easily won the feature allowance over 9 furlongs on the lawn at Santa Anita yesterday. With a motionless David Flores in the saddle this Castleton Lyons owned and bred filly already a stakes winner in France in 2007, disposed of the field in a very professional manner. Trainer Neil Drysdale will now aim her for some stakes races on the west coast. Watch this space !
