America's Tale, a sophomore filly by Gio Ponti won her second stake in a row yesterday, the Tiffany Lass at the Fair Grounds. Breaking on top, under jockey Brian Hernandez over this extended mile, she quickly put daylight between her foes and charged to a five length victory at the wire. This was a very good performance by the Bernie Flint trained filly as she bested older fillies and is only getting better according to connections as she followed up a win over seven panels in black type company at Laurel last month. Hernandez said post race that "I had a nice easy trip up front and when I called on her, she just went on". America's Tale runs in the colors of Naveed Chowhan and was bred by Madeline Auerbach and Catherine Parke.
