Bernstein colt a fast finishing 4th in Run for the Roses
MAKE MUSIC FOR ME (c 3, Bernstein - Miss Cheers by Carson City) ran an excellent 4th in the Kentucky Derby (G1) today at Churchill behind Super Saver. In a full field the colt found himself towards the rear having been pinched at the start, but made late ground in the straight to accelerate impressively and claim 4th. Trainer Alexis Barba was quoted afterwards "I'm delighted with his effort. We'll sit down with the owner tonight and talk about the Preakness".
