Son of BERNSTEIN Shakes Up the American Dreamer Stakes
BERNIE THE MAESTRO (g. 3, Bernstein - Horah for Bailey by Doneraile Court) picked up his 2nd career stakes win by winning the 1 mile American Dreamer Stakes at Calder. Breaking well, the gelding took over the lead by the first 1/4 mile setting the pace and leading throughout. Holding off challengers on the far turn, he propelled through the stretch to ward off another late challenge in the final eighth to win by a solid length.
