DOREMIFASOLLATIDO (f. 2, Bernstein - Consider It Done by Green Dancer) proved her prowess by powering to a Grade 2 score in the Matron Stakes at Belmont. This victory secured her place as one of the best 2 year old fillies in the country. With Eibar Coa in the irons, the filly was well placed through the race sittting just off the pace. Entering the stretch, the filly began her drive, brushed Argyle Pink to push through the gap and win by a strong two lengths. "That was a big effort," said trainer Jimmy Jerkens. "Her rhythm got broken a little bit at the top of the stretch, but she showed a lot of grit." This is the first graded stakes win for DOREMIFASOLLATIDO who is owned by Susan Moore & M and M Thoroughbred Partners, and was bred by Edward J. Messina (NY).
