THUNDER BRIDGE Wins By 13 Lengths in Sligo Maiden

Thunder Bridge (c. 2, Bernstein - Hasardeuse by Distant View) made some noise at Sligo today by starting his career with an impressive 13 length win!  Trained by Dermot Weld for Khalid Abdullah, Thunder Bridge was kept in the middle of the pack behind leaders, was moved up to the pace 2 furlongs out and drove clear with over a furlong to go.  Pat Smullen guided the Bernstein colt to victory going 6 furlongs on the good to yielding course.  "He's a very nice horse and we think a lot of him," commented Smullen. "He's been doing everything right at home."

Congratulations to all of the connections of Thunder Bridge!
