CLASSICAL SLEW Earns Black Type While Remaining Undefeated

CLASSICAL SLEW (c. 2, Bernstein - Seattle Qui by Seattle Slew) remains unbeaten while earning his first stakes win at Hollywood Park yesterday in the Willard L. Proctor Memorial Stakes. Going 5.5 furlongs on the All Weather surface, the colt chased the leaders along the rail early, came off in the turn to make his move, and took over the lead in midstretch to win by a comfortable length over the rest of the field. This was the second win in as many starts for the BERNSTEIN colt who is trained by Doug O'Neill and is bred and owned by Joseph LaCombe Stables, Inc. Congratulations to all of his connections!
