MODERN GREEK Wins G1 at San Isidro
MODERN GREEK (f. 3, Bernstein - Model (Arg) by Equalize) scored a breakthrough victory in the G1 Gran Premio Clasico Mil Guineas this weekend in Argentina. The BERNSTEIN filly was sent off as the favorite to win the first G1 race of the season for 3 year old fillies. The talented filly was entered here after scoring a 13-length victory in a maiden, she has won or placed in 4 of her 5 career starts. MODERN GREEK is trained by Juan Carlos Etchechoury, owned by Stud El Gusy, and was bred by Haras Santa Maria de Araras. She will be pointed toward next month's G1 Gran Premio Polla de Potrancas at Palermo. Congratulations to all of MODERN GREEK's connections!
